As we begin our journey together through Feathermane Soul Wisdom, my first full episode discusses what I mean when I talk about living as an embodied being. Remembering that we are “a being” and not “a doing” has been the fodder for a lot of memes online and a lot of pop psychology. And yet, underneath the quips and social media graphics, there is truth. That we are beings. We inhabit a body. And too often our culture, our belief system, and even the way we live our lives serves to separate ourselves from our body.
In this episode I discuss what I mean when I say embodied and how that interacts with our authentic self, our spirituality, and living our truest, best life.

I’d love to hear from you. Reach out and contact me. Let me know how you fit in with my work and what you’d like to chat about. I’m happy to bring in new voices and perspectives, but just so you’re aware, I won’t promote anyone who is selling quick fixes, trying to exploit the communities I’m a part of, or who outright dismisses the work I’m doing. I’m a firm believer we have to stop putting silos around things and understand the glorious interplay between such things as our mental health, our well-being, living authentic and embodied, as well as some of the harms caused by a psychology practice that has for too long been centered in a cis, white, neurotypical, heterosexual frame.
