Grief Circle Guidelines

Feathermane Soul is committed to being an inclusive and nondiscriminatory environment for individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, neurotype, body size, ability, size and shape, or health status. Periodically Feathermane Soul may hold gatherings specific to certain groups of individuals in order to better facilitate a safe and nonjudgmental space for them. While we cannot specifically screen individuals attending this space, we ask that these individuals’ desire for this safe, nonjudgmental space be respected.

Participation in any of our classes or events is optional and you are encouraged to participate in a way which feels comfortable for you. Cameras are optional in our virtual spaces.

We ask that you do not contact individuals outside of our event spaces unless you have a previous relationship with them and the communicate is welcome and encouraged. Anyone who uses our online spaces to engage in unwelcome behavior toward others without their consent will be barred from further participation.

While we request that information shared in our grief circles will not be shared, we cannot guarantee this will be the case. Likewise, there is no recording, screen sharing, or screen capping of any grief circle or designated online event.

We request that everyone participating within our online spaces is over the age of 18 or a legal adult in their jurisdiction.

Code of Conduct

Individuals will be treated with dignity and respect and offer the same to everyone in turn. We try to avoid ablelist or discriminatory language and do not tolerate verbal, physical, and/or sexual harassment, abuse or violations of consent and personal boundaries, discrimination, or any dismissal of the lived experience of other participants. Any violation will be addressed directly and immediately and may result in removal from our spaces.
