Yin Yoga is a passive form of yoga with longer holds and a more inward focus.
Yin yoga is great for those with mobility issues, or perhaps people with less flexibility who may want to work without a lot of changes in positions. Poses can be held up to 5 or 10 minutes, or as little as 2-3. Yin yoga comes with its own set of asanas, or poses, but can also be practiced with the more traditional yoga poses. My personal blend of yin yoga works with both sets of poses.
