We don’t often think about how much grief impacts our lives. From the loss of a pet, friend, or loved one, to the disappointments that occur, to realizing just how much we’ve lost because of a late diagnosis or people not realizing the extent of our neurodivergent brains, disability, or queerness. All of this is grief, and it’s a lot to carry.

I will never tell you to “get over it” or that you are “taking too long to grieve”. We each work through these things in our own time. Grief is a naturals response to losing something we loved or realizing we’ve lost something that we care about very deeply. Grief is natural. It isn’t negative or bad vibes or whatever the instagram influencers choose to say about it today.
Grief is healthy. And sometimes we need help working through the grief, someone with a holistic lens that won’t pathologize your very real, very natural feelings.
